Resumen

Los cursos on-line masivos en abierto o «MOOC» son el eslogan actual del sec­tor de la educación en línea. Muchos ven los MOOC como la representación de una «innovación disruptiva» que va a cambiar la educación.

Hay muchos partidarios y muchos cínicos que han intervenido en el debate de los MOOC. Este artículo ofrece una visión general del desarrollo y la evolución de los MOOC con el fin de ver las posibles futuras direcciones que podrían estar dis­ponibles para este tipo de cursos.
